One-component acrylic dispersion-based joint sealant for exterior and interior use. Binds by drying to a plasto-elastic material. Can be painted over with all Brillux dispersion paints. For sealing joints and connections with low expansion stress and no permanent moisture load.

The joint design should always be carried out according to the guidelines of DIN 18540. Pre-filling profiles ensure the correct joint depth and avoid triangular joints and three-sided adhesion. The permissible total deformation of the sealant is thus not negatively influenced. To avoid edge soiling, joint edges should be masked off. Sealant primers optimise adhesion and prevent edge contamination through penetration on porous or absorbent substrates. This is especially true for PU sealant 382. Smoothing spatulas have proven effective for smoothing sealants. In the case of acrylic sealant 395, moisten the smoothing tool with water; in the case of neutral silicone 386, window repair paste 399, hybrid sealant 383 and PU sealant 382, use water containing wetting agent. Keep the addition of wetting agent to a minimum for PU sealant 382 to avoid discolouration of the sealant and the adjacent substrate.
