Product information "Armierungskleber 480 - 20 kg"

Brillux Reinforcement Adhesive 480 – elastic emulsion adhesive for fabric

Brillux Reinforcement Adhesive 480 is a weather-resistant, highly elastic emulsion adhesive with high bonding and filling power. It is used for bonding glass fibre mesh in the CreaGlas mesh system where there is increased exposure to moisture, as well as for bonding or embedding Elastik-Gewebe 1566.

The white adhesive is moisture-resistant, waterproof, vapour-permeable and easy to apply. It is used externally on all load-bearing, mineral-based substrates, e.g. standard plaster and concrete, as part of a system comprising Top-Elastik Facade Paint 380 and Betonfinish 839.

What sets this product apart

  • Highly elastic emulsion adhesive, white.
  • Area of application: for exterior and interior use.
  • Moisture-resistant and weather-resistant.
  • With high adhesive strength and filling power.
  • Vapour-permeable: the coating allows water vapour to pass through.
  • For embedding Elastik fabric 1566 and for bonding CreaGlas fabric.

How much adhesive do I need?

Approx. 300 g/m² is required for bonding CreaGlas fabric, and approx. 1,000 g/m² for embedding Elastik fabric 1566.

  • 20 kg for CreaGlas fabric: approx. 67 m².
  • 20 kg for embedding Elastik fabric: approx. 20 m².

These coverage figures apply to a single application on a smooth substrate. Additional applications within the system will increase the total amount required.
