Brillux Betonacryl OS 859 – Protective coating for outdoor concrete surfaces

Brillux Betonacryl OS 859 is a weather-resistant protective coating for new, old or repaired outdoor concrete surfaces. It can also be applied to sound substrates such as exterior render, fibre cement, organically bound plasters and intact emulsion paint finishes.

Photocatalytic components break down the finest organic particles on the surface. The matt-finish pure acrylate dispersion also offers a high level of protection against aggressive atmospheric pollutants.

Product features

  • Pure acrylate dispersion base, water-dilutable.
  • Area of application: for exterior use, matt finish.
  • High hiding power.
  • Tested as surface protection systems OS 2 (OS B) and OS 4 (OS C).
  • Photocatalytically active.
  • Alkali-resistant.

How much paint do I need?

Coverage is approx. 130–150 ml/m² per coat.

  • 15 litres: approx. 100–115 m²

These coverage figures apply to a single coat and may vary depending on the substrate and application method.

In accordance with surface protection system OS 2 (OS B) or OS 4 (OS C), at least two coats are required.
