Brillux Concrete Protection LF 861 Colourless – Protective coating for concrete

Brillux Concrete Protection LF 861 Colourless is a colourless, silk-matt protective coating based on a pure acrylate dispersion for both exterior and interior use. It serves as a weather-resistant coating for new and old, intact exposed aggregate concrete surfaces outdoors and can also be used as a glaze on exposed aggregate, textured and fair-faced concrete surfaces.

The solvent-free, water-dilutable dispersion offers a high level of protection against carbon dioxide and has been tested as a carbonation-inhibiting coating for concrete surfaces. It is alkali-resistant, non-saponifiable, permeable to water vapour and very easy to apply.

What sets this product apart

  • Colourless protective coating based on a pure acrylate dispersion.
  • Silk matt, solvent-free, water-dilutable.
  • Applications: for both exterior and interior use.
  • High level of protection against carbon dioxide.
  • Easy to clean: wet abrasion class 1 – high resistance to abrasion during wet cleaning.
  • Can also be used as a glazing coat for washed, textured and exposed concrete.

How much material do I need?

Coverage is approx. 120–170 ml of undiluted material per m². This corresponds to approx. 140–200 ml of water-diluted material.

  • 10 litres of undiluted material: approx. 58–83 m²

These coverage figures apply to a single coat and may vary depending on the substrate and application method.
