Brillux Facade Filler 444 Protect – filling intermediate coat with film protection

Brillux Facade Filler 444 Protect is a filling intermediate coat for external use, designed to visually even out surface irregularities, areas where plaster has been reapplied and touch-up areas, as well as to seal cracks in plaster surfaces in accordance with BFS Information Sheet 19. It is also suitable as a primer for uncoated aerated concrete wall panels.

This fibre-reinforced, weather-resistant filler provides excellent coverage, seals cracks and is easy to apply. The ‘Protect’ formula protects the coating against algae and fungal growth.

What does ‘Protect’ mean?

This version features an additional protective film coating against algae and fungal growth and is designed for external use. The protective effect depends, amongst other things, on the location and moisture exposure.

How much material do I need?

As a filling coat on rendered façades, coverage is approx. 500–800 g/m². For the first coat on aerated concrete, at least 800 g/m² is required.

  • 25 kg on rendered façades: approx. 31–50 m².
  • 25 kg on aerated concrete: up to approx. 31 m².

These coverage figures apply to a single coat and may vary depending on the substrate and application method.
