Brillux Floortec 2K-Aqua-Basis 809 colourless – 2-component epoxy primer for indoor floors

Brillux Floortec 2K-Aqua-Basis 809 is a two-component, transparent, epoxy resin-based primer for indoor floor surfaces. It is used as part of a system comprising Floortec 2K-Aqua-Dickschicht 810 and 2K-Epoxi-Siegel 848.

The primer is water-dilutable, low-odour and free from solvents and VOCs. It can be used on concrete, cement, calcium sulphate and magnesia screeds. When used in combination with Floortec Quartz Sand 1526, it can also be employed within the system as a resin mortar and for scratch-coating, filling voids and levelling.

How much primer do I need?

For priming, approx. 60–80 g of base material and 30–40 g of Floortec Aqua Hardener 812 are required per m². The mixing ratio of base to hardener is 2:1 by weight; the mixture is then diluted with water depending on the substrate.

  • 6 kg set including hardener (4 kg base + 2 kg hardener): approx. 50–67 m².

This coverage applies to a single primer coat. The amount of water added and the system composition depend on the substrate and the technical data sheet.
