Product information "Glemalux ELF 1000"

Brillux Glemalux ELF 1000 – high-coverage wall paint for smooth interior surfaces

The finish is particularly striking on smooth walls. Brillux Glemalux ELF 1000 is suitable for painting walls and ceilings indoors where an even, matt finish is required. This interior emulsion paint is specially formulated for smooth substrates, such as surfaces treated with Brillux Xtravlies 1725.

The paint offers excellent coverage and is easy to apply. Its long open time gives you more time whilst painting to blend adjacent strokes wet-on-wet. The coating achieves wet abrasion class 1 and withstands damp cleaning particularly well.

What sets this product apart

  • Area of application: for interiors, semi-matt (G4).
  • Hiding power: H10 Class 1 at 8 m²/l.
  • Easy to clean: Wet abrasion class 1 – high resistance to abrasion during damp cleaning.
  • Classified as flame-retardant (B1) within the system.
  • Vapour-permeable: The coating allows water vapour to pass through.
  • Composition: Free from preservatives, solvents and plasticisers; low-emission.
  • Tested properties: Blue Angel certified in accordance with DE-UZ 102.

How much paint do I need?

Coverage is approx. 120–140 ml/m² per coat.

  • 5 litres: approx. 35–42 m²
  • 10 litres: approx. 71–83 m²
  • 15 litres: approx. 107–125 m²

These coverage figures apply to a single coat and may vary depending on the surface and application method.
