Brillux Hydro-PU-XSpray Isoprimer 2243 is a primer with excellent isolating properties against water-soluble wood constituents. It is used for barrier primer coats on timber components and wood-based materials as part of a system comprising water-based Brillux coating systems, for example on soffits, windows, doors and cladding.

It is specially formulated for efficient spray application using XVLP technology (yellow FrontEnd) and adheres well to untreated timber and existing coatings.

What sets this product apart

  • Area of application: for exterior and interior use, vapour-permeable.
  • Good adhesion to untreated timber and existing coatings.
  • Good coverage, quick-drying.
  • Ideally suited for use with XVLP spray guns.
  • Handy screw-top cup.

How much primer do I need?

Coverage is approx. 130–170 ml/m² per coat.

  • 1 litre: approx. 5.9–7.7 m²
