Brillux Kunststoffhaut 980 – colourless protective coating for wallpaper and emulsion paints

In areas subject to frequent contact, wallpaper and matt emulsion paints may benefit from an additional topcoat. Brillux Kunststoffhaut 980 makes it easier to clean such small, localised areas indoors.

The colourless coating is water-dilutable and resistant to standard household cleaning products. Its gloss level can be adjusted by adding water.

What sets this product apart

  • Colourless, synthetic resin-based coating.
  • For wallpaper and matt emulsion paints, for interior use.
  • Formulation: Solvent-free and water-dilutable.
  • Resistant to standard household cleaning products.
  • Vapour-permeable: the coating allows water vapour to pass through.
  • Gloss level can be adjusted by adding water.

How much product do I need?

Coverage is approx. 50–150 ml/m² per coat.

  • 1 litre: approx. 6.7–20 m²

These coverage figures apply to a single coat and may vary depending on the substrate and application method.
