DESCRIPTION

Product information "Silikat-Putz KR K2 3631 Protect weiß - 25 kg"

Brillux Silicate Plaster KR K2 3631 Protect – mineral-based textured plaster with film protection

Brillux Silicate Plaster KR K2 3631 Protect is the ‘Protect’ grade of decorative silicate-based textured plaster in accordance with DIN EN 15824, designed for flat, silicifiable, mineral substrates in external applications and within the Brillux ETICS system. The film protection is particularly suitable for surfaces subject to prolonged moisture exposure and highly thermally insulated façades.

Thanks to the silicification process, the render adheres particularly well to the substrate and is highly vapour-permeable.

This is what sets the product apart

  • Protect specification: Protect quality with film protection against algae and fungal growth.
  • Silicate-based textured render in accordance with DIN EN 15824, grain size K2.
  • Area of application: for external use.
  • High adhesion due to silicification with the substrate.
  • Highly vapour-permeable, tested in the Brillux ETICS system.

What does ‘Protect’ mean?

This product features an additional protective film against algae and fungal growth on the coating and is intended for external use. The protective effect depends, amongst other things, on the location and moisture exposure.

How much render do I need?

Coverage is approx. 3.4 kg/m² per coat on smooth substrates.

  • 25 kg: approx. 7.4 m²

These coverage figures apply to a single application and may vary depending on the substrate and application method.
