Brillux Silicate Filler ELF 3639 – a filling-type silicate-based filler

Brillux Silicate Brush-On Filler ELF 3639 is a weather-resistant, ready-to-use silicate-based brush-on filler containing organic stabilisers, designed for filling, crack-bridging and texturing intermediate coats on mineral substrates capable of silicification, both internally and externally. It also serves as an intermediate coat (plaster primer) for silicate plasters and as an adhesion-promoting contact coat on low-absorbent, matt organic existing coatings.

The fibre-reinforced filler is low-odour, highly permeable to water vapour and bonds with the substrate through silicification. It is low-emission and free from solvents and plasticisers.

How much material do I need?

Approx. 200–250 g/m² is required as an intermediate coat for silicate plasters; approx. 500–800 g/m² as a texturing coat.

  • 20 kg as an intermediate coat: approx. 80–100 m².
  • 20 kg as a texturing coat: approx. 25–40 m².

These coverage figures apply to a single coat and may vary depending on the substrate and application method.
