Brillux Universal Fixative LF 394 – solvent-free fixative for textile floor coverings

Brillux Universal Fixative LF 394 is a solvent-free emulsion fixative for the full-surface installation of textile floor coverings and underlays in private residential areas. It is suitable for textile floor coverings with non-woven, comfort or textile backing, CV coverings, SL tiles and needle-punched fleece as tile-like products on all subfloors ready for installation, including old existing floor coverings such as PVC, linoleum and stone floors, or sealed parquet.

The adhesive is very low-emission, prevents the floor covering from slipping or buckling, and ensures that the covering can be easily removed. It is suitable for use with chair castors and underfloor heating systems.

How much adhesive do I need?

When applied with a roller, consumption is approx. 100–200 g/m²; when applied with a trowel, approx. 150–250 g/m².

  • 12 kg when applied with a roller: approx. 60–120 m².
  • 12 kg applied with a trowel: approx. 48–80 m².

These coverage figures apply to full-surface application and depend on the substrate and application method.

Dispersion adhesive LF 392 is recommended for needle-punched non-woven fabric supplied in rolls.
