Brillux Rapidvlies 1525 – a durable paintable non-woven fabric made from recycled raw materials

Brillux Rapidvlies 1525 is a durable paintable non-woven fabric made from recycled raw materials, designed for smooth and even interior wall and ceiling surfaces. It is used for decorating, renovating and refurbishing surfaces suitable for wallpapering, such as interior plaster, plasterboard and exposed concrete.

The fleece consists of 95 per cent recycled cellulose and textile fibres and has a high grammage of 160 g/m². It is dimensionally stable, crack-bridging, provides good coverage of the substrate and is flame-retardant (B1). In accordance with VOB, DIN 18363, clause 3.2.1.2, it can be used as a crack-bridging reinforcement on plasterboard and gypsum fibre boards.

How much wall covering do I need?

One roll measuring 30 × 0.75 m contains approx. 22.5 m² of wallcovering. The usable area depends on the room height, the way the roll is cut and, where applicable, the pattern repeat.
