Brillux Xtravlies 1725 – highly compacted, pre-coated paint fleece

Brillux Xtravlies 1725 is a highly compacted, pre-coated paintable non-woven fabric for creating particularly smooth and even interior wall and ceiling surfaces. It is used for decorating, renovating and refurbishing surfaces suitable for wallpapering, such as interior plaster, plasterboard and exposed concrete.

The fibre mesh, with a high grammage of approx. 170 g/m², is particularly flexible, dimensionally stable and extremely tear-resistant. It provides good coverage of the substrate and is flame-retardant (B1). In accordance with VOB, DIN 18363, clause 3.2.1.2, it can be used as a crack-bridging reinforcement on plasterboard and gypsum fibre boards. When used in a system with 2K-Aqua Whiteboard 2384, it can also be used as a whiteboard surface.

How much wall covering do I need?

One roll measuring 40 × 0.75 m contains approx. 30 m² of wall covering. The usable area depends on the room height, the way it is cut to size and, where applicable, the pattern repeat.
