The natural wallpaper features a geometric pattern. This original wallpaper has a background of woven sisal onto which the pattern has been embroidered in jute. The coloured embroidery thread plays an important role. It forms a contrast to both the jute and the sisal. It doesn't take much imagination to recognise the wings of Icarus in this pattern. The name is also derived from this: Alata is Latin for winged. The relief-like structure in natural colour tones gives the surface depth and elegance.
Important: When applying the wallpaper, both the back of the wallpaper must be moistened and the wall must be pasted. The wallpaper is only slightly water-resistant. Paste stains or water on the front must therefore be dabbed off immediately.
The special width of the wallpaper ensures that the pattern can unfold its effect in the room.
