Paper and jute yarns are skilfully woven together to create the chevron pattern on the wallpaper. This pattern bears the name of the town of Atuona, the capital of the island of Hiva Oa in French Polynesia, which belongs to the Marquesas archipelago. Among others, the painter Paul Gauguin and the French singer Jacques Brel, who were both fascinated by the beauty of the region, found their final resting place here. The woven appearance creates a natural and elegant wall design with a subtle boho chic look.

The wallpaper backing is made of high-quality non-woven fabric. Before application, the wall is pasted. In addition, the back of the wallpaper must be moistened.
