DESCRIPTION

Product information "Elastik-Gewebe 1566"

Brillux Elastik-Gewebe 1566 – Polyester fabric for crack-bridging coatings

Brillux Elastic Fabric 1566 reinforces crack-bridging façade and floor coatings. The impregnated polyester fabric is tear-resistant, alkali-resistant and accommodates crack movement across the surface.

It is used for partial or full reinforcement within the appropriate Brillux coating system. On façades, it is embedded using Reinforcement Adhesive 480 or Betonfinish 839, depending on the system; in flooring systems, it is embedded using Floortec PU Floor Sealer 847.

What sets this product apart

  • Impregnated, alkali-resistant polyester fabric.
  • Highly tear- and shear-resistant, non-swelling.
  • Point-bonded fibres for better distribution of crack strain.
  • Weight approx. 40 g/m².
  • For façade renovations and floor coatings.

How much fabric do I need?

  • 25 cm × 50 m: 12.5 m² of mesh area per roll.
  • 100 cm × 50 m: 50 m² of mesh area per roll.

With a mesh width of 100 cm, the consumption – allowing for an overlap of approx. 10 cm – is approx. 1.10 running metres per m². One roll is therefore sufficient for approx. 45 m² of reinforced surface area.
