Brillux ELF 3720 Adhesion Primer – pigmented adhesion primer for interior and exterior use

On smooth or slightly absorbent surfaces, a new coat of paint requires a suitable base. Brillux ELF 3720 Adhesion Primer is a pigmented primer for non-absorbent or slightly absorbent substrates, both indoors and outdoors. These include plaster, concrete and firmly adhering, sound existing paint finishes.

The primer improves adhesion and extends the open time of the subsequent coat. This is particularly useful on surfaces exposed to oblique light.

What sets this product apart

  • Area of application: for interior and exterior use.
  • Promotes adhesion and strengthens the surface.
  • Extends the open time of subsequent coats.
  • Specially designed for surfaces exposed to oblique light.
  • Weather-resistant, low-odour, vapour-permeable.
  • Composition: Free from preservatives, solvents and plasticisers (ELF).
  • Tested properties: Blue Angel certified in accordance with DE-UZ 102.

How much primer do I need?

Coverage is approx. 150–200 ml/m² per coat.

  • 5 litres: approx. 25–33 m²
  • 15 litres: approx. 75–100 m²

These coverage figures apply to a single coat and may vary depending on the substrate and application method.
