Brillux Lignodur SolvoGuard 885 Protect – Weather protection for exterior timber with film protection
Brillux Lignodur SolvoGuard 885 Protect is the ‘Protect’ grade of opaque weather protection for initial and renovation coats on all external timber components. The film protection safeguards the coating against algae and fungal growth, for example on façades, balcony parapets, shutters, fences, windows and external doors.
This silk-matt paint, based on long-oil alkyd resin, is a one-pot system that is drip-resistant, moisture-regulating and seals in the wood’s natural constituents.
What sets this product apart
- Protect features: Protect quality with film protection against algae and fungal growth.
- Based on long-oil alkyd resin, for exterior use.

- Moisture-regulating, seals in the wood’s natural constituents.
What does ‘Protect’ mean?
This formulation features additional film protection against algae and fungal attack on the coating and is intended for external use. The protective effect depends, amongst other things, on the location and moisture exposure.
