Brillux Lignodur Xylodol 540 – weather-resistant wood oil for decking and outdoor timber
Decks, garden furniture and timber cladding are constantly exposed to the elements outdoors. Brillux Lignodur Xylodol 540 is a linseed oil-based wood oil designed for the maintenance of such non-dimensionally stable and partially dimensionally stable timber components.
The oil penetrates well and, with its enhancing effect, emphasises the wood’s natural grain. The surface remains matt, is water-repellent and allows moisture to escape from the wood.
What sets this product apart
- A low-aromatic wood oil based on natural linseed oil.
- Applications: for external use, matt finish.
- Long open time, excellent penetration.
- Dries through quickly, with a water-beading effect.
- Enhances the appearance of the surface.
- Colour range: Available in twelve shades from natural to ebony, as well as colourless.
Also available with ‘Protect’ formulation
For outdoor use, Brillux Lignodur Xylodol 540 Protect is available as a separate formulation with additional film protection against algae and fungal attack on the coating.
