Brillux Oil Sump Coating 901 – Emulsion paint for oil sumps and containment areas

Brillux Oil Sump Coating 901 is a single-component, polyvinyl acetate-based emulsion paint for oil sumps and containment areas. It is used on sound concrete, plaster and screed surfaces inside enclosed buildings, for example on floor surfaces in lift shafts.

The silk-matt coating is resistant to EL heating oil as well as to unused engine and gear oils. It is characterised by high adhesion and elasticity and is suitable for floor and wall surfaces. The requirements of the AwSV must be observed.

What sets this product apart

  • Single-component emulsion paint based on polyvinyl acetate.
  • Resistant to EL heating oil as well as unused engine and gearbox oils.
  • Silk matt finish.
  • High adhesion and elasticity.
  • For floor and wall surfaces inside enclosed buildings.
  • Colour: brick red.

How much material do I need?

A total of at least three coats and at least 800 ml of undiluted material per m² are required for the entire surface.

  • 2.5 litres: up to approx. 3.1 m².
  • 5 litres: up to approx. 6.2 m².

These coverage figures relate to the full coat at the minimum consumption rate. The application method is based on the test report; actual consumption may be higher depending on the substrate.
