Brillux Secolux 918 Protect – Silicone-resin façade paint with film protection

Brillux Secolux 918 Protect is available for façades requiring additional film protection. This matt silicone resin façade paint is silicon-reinforced, water-repellent and highly vapour-permeable. The ‘Protect’ formulation provides additional protection against algae and fungal growth.

Solartect has a photocatalytic effect and supports the surface’s self-cleaning properties. The effectiveness of the additional film protection depends, amongst other things, on the location and the level of moisture exposure.

What sets this product apart

  • For exterior use, matt, high opacity
  • Stays clean for longer thanks to silicon
  • Photocatalytically active thanks to Solartect (‘self-cleaning’)
  • Highest colour fastness (Class A 1)
  • Highly vapour-permeable, hydrophobic, microporous
  • Non-film-forming, unsaponifiable, quick-drying
  • Very easy to apply
  • Protect: Film protection against algae and fungal growth
  • Colour: white

How much paint do I need?

Coverage is approx. 150–180 ml/m² per coat.

  • 10 litres: approx. 56–67 m²
  • 15 litres: approx. 83–100 m²

These coverage figures apply to a single coat and may vary depending on the surface and application method.
