DESCRIPTION

Product information "Voll- und Abtönfarbe 951"

Brillux Solid Colour and Tinting Paint 951 is suitable for custom tinting of emulsion paints, as well as for coloured coatings in both interior and exterior applications. Whether you’re looking for a coordinated wall colour, a single accent area or a contrasting colour detail on a façade, its high tinting capacity opens up a wide range of design possibilities. The matt finish ensures a subtle colour effect.

This water-dilutable paint is low-odour, low-emission and free from preservatives, solvents and plasticisers. It is easy to apply and combines high weather resistance with water vapour permeability. With Class 2 wet abrasion resistance, it also provides a hard-wearing surface.

Key features at a glance

  • Suitable as a solid colour paint and for tinting interior and exterior emulsion paints

  • Matt finish and high colour-retention capacity

  • Highly weather-resistant and vapour-permeable

  • Free from preservatives, solvents and plasticisers

  • Apply with a brush, roller or airless sprayer

  • Available in 14 colours and in 500 ml and 5 l sizes

Application and coverage

Suitable for suitably prepared substrates such as plaster and concrete, as well as wall coverings that can be painted over, for example woodchip wallpaper. On smooth surfaces, coverage is approximately 140–170 ml/m² per coat; on rough surfaces, it is higher. The substrate must be solid, dry, clean and sound. A primer may be required, depending on the substrate.

When tinting, the colour effect may vary depending on the emulsion paint used. A test application will help you assess the desired colour shade in advance.
