Product information "Wallpaper Abaca Tressé - Naturel Blanc"

The wallpaper made from abaca weave features an artistic rope pattern. Abaca or "Manila hemp" is one of the most hard-wearing natural fibres available. It is obtained from the heart of the trunk of the Musa textilis banana plant in Ecuador or the Philippines and is popular in haute couture fashion and interior design. It enables the creation of rich, sophisticated colours and light transparency. As the fibre is obtained using an environmentally friendly process in which the plant is roasted, the yarn is 100% plant-based. All the steps involved in making the wallpaper are carried out by hand.

The backing is made of high-quality non-woven fabric. This makes hanging the wallpaper very easy. Paste is applied to the wall, and then the wallpaper is hung directly onto the wall.
