The wallpaper features a fine structure of horizontally running natural ramie fibres. The pattern is created by irregular woven structures that give the wallpaper a lively depth. The light colour nuances and organic fibre gradients underline the natural character and create a warm, elegant atmosphere.

The ramie plant has been known for thousands of years. The fibre obtained from it is characterised by its robustness and resistance to moisture. It also has an elegant lustre. It is therefore also known as plant silk. Weaving the fibres by hand requires exceptional dexterity.
