Abaca or "Manila hemp" is one of the most durable fibres for textiles. It is obtained from the heart of the trunk of the banana plant from Ecuador or the Philippines (Musa textilis) and is used in haute couture fashion and interior decoration. It enables the creation of rich, sophisticated colours and at the same time provides a light transparency. As the fibre is obtained using an environmentally friendly process in which the plant is roasted, the yarn is guaranteed to be 100% plant-based. The expertise in processing the fibre offers great creativity in the production of blinds, panel blinds or wall coverings.
The special creations made from the natural materials silk, cotton and abaca are woven in an unusual way on a traditional loom.

The product is produced on a high quality non-woven backing. This makes it very easy to apply: The wall is pasted and the panels are glued directly onto the wall.
