During production, the pattern is printed on a luxurious silk fabric. The wallpaper is available in two versions. Product variant 18619.1 is printed on raw slub silk. The material is similar to the silk wallpapers that adorn historic English manor houses and royal residences. It has the tactile texture of raw silk and is characterised by a matt sheen.
The product variant 18619.2 is printed on smoother Non-Slub Silk. With its stronger lustre, it is ideal for dressing rooms and budoirs.
The pattern comes from the large archive of the traditional English luxury brand. It reflects the Victorian era's interest in Far Eastern motifs. It has been carefully reworked for the Classics Collection Vol. II anniversary collection.
The backing is made of high-quality non-woven fabric. This makes hanging the wallpaper very easy. Paste is applied to the wall, and then the wallpaper is hung directly onto the wall.

The wallpaper manufacturer Cole & Son was founded in 1873 in North London. In the 50s and 60s of the last century, Cole & Son worked together with numerous contemporary artists. This resulted in wallpaper classics such as the vintage wallpaper Woods or the shabby chic wallpaper Hick's Hexagon.
