The opulent plant deign of Protea Garden Silk by Cole & Son is printed on luxurious natural silk. It shows leaves, vines and South Africa's national flower, the royal protea. The beautifully rampant design of Protea Garden Silk is inspired by ceramics from the Ardmore Archive. In a garden of paradise, magnificent sunbirds with fiery feathers feed on abundant nectar. Their wings are raised like heraldic cherubs, while cunning chameleons catch insects.
The beautifully textured silk adds a unique textural character to the sublime print. The weave and knots of the natural silk catch the light and add luster and nuances of color.
Cleaning the precious material can be done carefully with a vacuum cleaner with a brush nozzle or a dry cloth.
Backing material is the high-quality Cole & Son fleece. This makes the application very easy. The wall is pasted and the panels are glued directly to the wall.

The wallpaper manufacturer Cole & Son was founded in 1873 in North London. In the 50s and 60s of the last century, Cole & Son worked together with numerous contemporary artists. This resulted in wallpaper classics such as the vintage wallpaper Woods or the shabby chic wallpaper Hick's Hexagon.
