The pattern of the wallpaper is inspired by the lotus flower. It creates a symmetrical overall picture that draws the eye and gives the wall in living rooms and bedrooms a fascinating structure and order. The pattern comes into its own particularly powerfully thanks to the plain-coloured background.

The sophisticated design has the look of ikat weaving. In this Southeast Asian technique, the yarn is dyed in sections before processing.

The wallpaper is characterised by a particularly soft surface that is reminiscent of fabric.
