The wallpaper shows a geometric garden grid interspersed with lush flower tendrils with colourful anemones. The flowers and leaves wind along the linear structure and form a varied, vertical arrangement. The wallpaper is dedicated to the style icon Madeleine Castaing (1894-1992). Castaing was an internationally renowned French antiques dealer, interior designer and patron of the arts. She was famous for her revolutionary, slightly eccentric style.
Designer Catherine Gran, who created the wallpaper, was once a marvelling visitor to the shop that Castaing ran in Rue Jacob in Paris. She still raves about the eclectic selection of products today.
