Product information "Wallpaper Fragile - 351213"

The wallpaper is inspired by a vase in a still life by Simon Luttichhuys. The pattern lends the room an atmosphere of timeless lightness. The wallpaper is characterised by a soft surface that is reminiscent of fabric. All the colours have subtle metallic effects that create light reflections in the room depending on the position of the sun.

The wallpaper was created in a collaboration between the traditional Dutch wallpaper brand Eijffinger and the famous Mauritshuis painting museum in The Hague. The museum is home to some of the most famous works of Dutch painting, including works by Johannes Vermeer and Jacob van Ruisdael. The Eijffinger design team has taken a close look at the exquisite details of the artworks and reinterpreted them. Figurative classics from the museum have been transformed into abstract, eye-catching patterns.

The backing is made of high-quality non-woven fabric. This makes hanging the wallpaper very easy. Paste is applied to the wall, and then the wallpaper is hung directly onto the wall.
