The panoramic wallpaper features a symmetrically arranged pattern of metallic gold-coloured lines that frame geometric surfaces on a light, marbled background and create an elegant, architecture-like effect. They are reminiscent of wall structures from Roman antiquity and were skilfully drawn by hand.
The background pays homage to the Japanese technique of kintsugi. In this artistic craft, broken ceramics are reassembled and the broken areas are finished with gold, emphasising the damage rather than hiding it, giving the repaired object a characteristic aesthetic. The lines created along the broken pieces create abstract patterns.
The design is supplied in a set of several panels. It can be extended horizontally as required with additional sets.
The backing is made of high-quality non-woven fabric. This makes hanging the wallpaper very easy. Paste is applied to the wall, and then the wallpaper is hung directly onto the wall.
