The wallpaper has a fine woven pattern. It is made by hand from abaca. Abaca or "Manila hemp" is one of the most hard-wearing natural fibres available. It is obtained from the heart of the banana plant in Ecuador or the Philippines and is popular in haute couture fashion and exclusive interior design. It enables the creation of rich colours but also light transparency.

The product is produced on a high quality non-woven backing. This makes it very easy to apply: The wall is pasted and the panels are glued directly onto the wall.
