This wallpaper with a dramatic chinoiserie pattern of swirling dragons, formalised clouds and flower-laden branches comes from the archive and is based on an 18th century imperial Chinese dragon robe. The number of dragon motifs is rich in symbols of power, strength and luck and traditionally signalled the rank and status of the wearer.

The backing is made of high-quality non-woven fabric. This makes hanging the wallpaper very easy. Paste is applied to the wall, and then the wallpaper is hung directly onto the wall.
