Product information "Wallpaper Totem - Russet"

The wallpaper features a graphic pattern of curved, ornamental leaf tendrils that run in regular lines across the wall. The leaves look both modern and traditional thanks to their stylised shape and contrasting colours. The subtle linen texture look in the background creates a cosy atmosphere.

The pattern is based on borders found in suzanis. Suzanis are cotton fabrics decorated with silk or wool embroidery, which are famous for their characteristic style.

Thanks to the particularly wide wallpaper panels, Lewis & Wood's expressive composition can unfold its full effect in the room.

Wallpapers by Lewis & Wood have a width of up to 1.34 m and are applied using a double cut technique. The double cut ensures that the seams of the wallpaper panels fit together so perfectly that no transition is visible.

Lewis & Wood

The wallpaper and fabric manufacturer Lewis & Wood is based in Gloucestershire in the south-west of England. The often large-scale patterns are created in collaboration with artists or are inspired by historical artefacts - including those from the Victoria and Albert Museum in London.

Lewis & Wood was founded in 1993 by Stephen Lewis and Jonathan Wood with the aim of creating high-quality wallpapers and fabrics outside the mainstream. Production continues to this day in a historic mill building near Stroud. A special feature of the wallpapers is their width of up to 135 cm, which gives the patterns a generous effect and ensures a calm, two-dimensional overall look.

The patterns go particularly well with English country house style interiors and classically elegant living concepts. Thanks to their painterly appearance, they also create stylish accents in eclectic interiors.
