Built between 1869 and 1874, Knightshayes Court in Devon was designed by architect William Burges for the Heathcoat Amory family in neo-Gothic style. The charming snail wallpaper, which still adorns the walls of one of the bathrooms, was the inspiration for the Burgess Snail wallpaper by Little Greene.
The product is produced on a high quality non-woven backing. This makes it very easy to apply. The wall is pasted and the panels are glued directly onto the wall.
