Carlton House Terrace - ca. 1885
This wallpaper in a colourful peacock feather design was found in the attic of 18 Carlton House Terrace, an elegant residential building with an elongated stucco facade overlooking the Mall in London. The original was machine printed in green on a yellow background, the flat printing process used to recreate it accurately reflects the feel of the original, while a considered splash of colour in the feather offers an approach to anchoring a contemporary scheme.
Available in five colour variations.

Little Greene Paint Company Limited is a family-run English paint and wallpaper manufacturer dedicated to producing exclusive paints and wallpapers. With a history dating back to 1773, the factory on the outskirts of Manchester is one of the oldest industrial sites for paint production in England. Many of Little Greene’s wallpapers revive designs that had lain forgotten in archives for decades. They are produced using intricate printing processes on high-quality non-woven backing, which gives them their refined, traditional texture and elegant appearance.
