Tie Tami - wallpaper with abstract cloud motif by Moooi by Arte.
The Japanese-inspired wallpaper made of jute and raffia, reminiscent of the surface of tatami mats, fills the room with a well-composed, subtle color spectrum. Viewed from a distance, the abstract motif looks like clouds passing by on the horizon.
Carrier material of the jute and Raffiabast fabric is a high-quality non-woven, which makes the application very simple. The wall is painted with special non-woven paste and the strips are glued directly to the wall.

The Dutch design studio Moooi was founded in 2001 by Marcel Wanders and quickly made a name for itself with its innovative collections, which range from furniture to lighting fabrics and wallpaper to vases and other accessories. The designs are often daring and not infrequently downright poetic. The collaboration with Belgian wallpaper label Arte combines the production know-how of a global brand with the extravagant ideas of the Moooi team, based in Breda, between Rotterdam and Antwerp. A first result of this collaboration is the luxurious wallpaper series Extinct Animals.
