Wallpaper Pimpernel by Morris & Co.
Design: William Morris, 1876
This pattern, with its mirror symmetry and wild flower heads shaken by the wind, is typical of William Morris\'s greatest designs. It can be assumed that this design was one of William Morris\' personal favourites, as it also hung in his dining room at Kelmscott House in Hammersmith.
The wallpaper Pimpernel is available in five color combinations.

The wallpapers by William Morris are a classic of English wallpaper design. They suit both classical and modern interior concepts.
William Morris (1834-1896) was an English textile designer, poet, writer and translator. A pioneer of the English Arts and Crafts movement, a forerunner of German Jugendstil, he helped revive traditional British textiles and crafts.
In 1861 he and partners founded Morris, Marshall, Faulkner & Co, which became Morris & Co in 1875, a manufacturer of furniture and decorative arts. The company was inspired by medieval aesthetics and craftsmanship and had a great influence on the interior design of churches and houses in the early 20th century.
In 1940, Morris & Co closed. However, the wallpaper designs are produced and marketed to this day by Sanderson under its Morris & Co brand name.
