The wallpaper features an all-over pattern of fine willow leaves. The pattern is one of William Morris' most famous designs. It was designed in 1874 and predates the more intricate Willow Boughs by 13 years. Willow is available in two earthy colours and can be subtly combined with different interiors.

The wallpapers by William Morris are a classic of English wallpaper design. They suit both classical and modern interior concepts.
William Morris (1834-1896) was an English textile designer, poet, writer and translator. A pioneer of the English Arts and Crafts movement, a forerunner of German Jugendstil, he helped revive traditional British textiles and crafts.
In 1861 he and partners founded Morris, Marshall, Faulkner & Co, which became Morris & Co in 1875, a manufacturer of furniture and decorative arts. The company was inspired by medieval aesthetics and craftsmanship and had a great influence on the interior design of churches and houses in the early 20th century.
In 1940, Morris & Co closed. However, the wallpaper designs are produced and marketed to this day by Sanderson under its Morris & Co brand name.
