The wallpaper designed by Jeanine Keizer shows a colourful pattern of bottle caps. The variety of colours and logos creates a nostalgic, playful atmosphere. The pattern is not repeated within a roll, so that each bottle cap is unique and the eye can wander across the wall.
Jeanine Keizer is a celebrated Dutch ceramist who is known for breathing new life into used objects. She scours second-hand shops, markets and auctions for plates and cups and gives them a second life by reworking them with colour and glaze. Keizer studied at the Design Academy Eindhoven and later at the Art Academy in Den Bosch. Her work has already been exhibited in the Groninger Museum and the Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam.
The product is produced on a high quality non-woven backing. This makes it very easy to apply: The wall is pasted and the panels are glued directly onto the wall.
