Ekaterina Panikanova: "I like to work with old books, I like how they wear and tear. Through underlining, comments and scribbles I can draw conclusions about the personalities of the people who read the books. Every book has a past, it is the story of its reader. This collection is an exploration of personal thoughts and free associations. It's a project that brings my work into people's homes, into the families where it all began."
The collection consists of old books on which large images have been drawn, and includes 7 designs (5 murals and 2 wallpapers). The murals are composed of three panels that are placed in the middle of the wall. The wallpaper panels can be placed on the sides, which contain only books.
