The wallpaper features a regular diamond pattern of natural-coloured reed weave, bordered by dark stripes. The pattern is inspired by 19th century furniture coverings, known as Viennese wickerwork. The arrangement creates an elegant and structured surface effect. Fine details and a harmonious colour scheme in shades of brown and beige ensure a balanced appearance that stylishly complements both classic and modern interiors.
Woven reed has been used in furniture manufacturing for centuries. Thanks to lively trade with Asia, reed furniture first appeared in Holland, England and France around 1660.
The pattern is not repeated within a roll, so that every part of the wallpaper is unique and the eye can wander over the wall.
The product is produced on a high quality non-woven backing. This makes it very easy to apply: The wall is pasted and the panels are glued directly onto the wall.
