The wallpaper designed by Kensho II is inspired by traditional Japanese tattoo art and gives the room an extraordinary dynamic. The pattern only repeats itself after more than 4 metres, making each element of the pattern in the room unique and allowing the eye to wander across the wall.
Kensho II is a Japanese master tattoo artist who uses traditional tebori methods and sashibo instruments.
He opened his own studio in Gooise Meren in the Netherlands in 2021. With him, he wants to pass on the culture of traditional Japanese tattooing to future generations.
The product is produced on a high quality non-woven backing. This makes it very easy to apply: The wall is pasted and the panels are glued directly onto the wall.
