The natural wallpaper consists of a fine pattern of capiz shells with a subtly shiny surface. The capiz shells are collected on the coasts of the Philippines, the mother-of-pearl is applied to a backing by hand and then woven into a pattern by hand. The horizontal arrangement and slight lustre give the wallpaper a powerful presence.

Due to the special production technique, seams are visible between the individual strips of wallpaper on the wall. This is intentional on the part of the manufacturer and contributes to the natural appearance of the wallpaper.
