The wallpaper shows a series of stylised classical columns that run vertically in an even arrangement. The pattern, which was created by designers Robert and Roger Nicholson for Zoffany in the mid-20th century, is inspired by classical architecture. The pattern has been reinterpreted for the Palladio collection using metallic colours and modern colour schemes. The linear pattern lends walls an architectural rigour and creates a calm, orderly atmosphere in the room with historical elegance.
The backing is made of high-quality non-woven fabric. This makes hanging the wallpaper very easy. Paste is applied to the wall, and then the wallpaper is hung directly onto the wall.
