The wallpaper features a soft pattern inspired by traditional marbling techniques. The undulating, organic shapes and subtle, very harmonious colour gradations were captured by Zoffany in collaboration with the art marbler Emma D'Arcey.
The wallpaper is part of Zoffany's Endpapers collection. The collection is inspired by the art of bookbinding and historical wallpaper patterns. The term "endpapers" refers to the often intricately and artistically printed pages at the beginning and end of a book, from which the patterns in the collection are inspired. They lend rooms a refined, very English touch without forcing themselves into the foreground.
The product is produced on a high quality non-woven backing. This makes it very easy to apply: The wall is pasted and the panels are glued directly onto the wall.
