Product information "Wallpaper Sicilian Lion - Serpentine/ Gold"
The wallpaper shows a recurring arrangement of stylised lion figures printed with gold-coloured pigments on a dark background. The lion is the English heraldic animal. The pattern was created by designers Robert and Roger Nicholson in 1956 on behalf of Zoffany for public buildings. Its new edition for the Palladio collection has been scaled down from the original, which was almost one metre high. A special printing process is used to achieve an enormous depth of colour.
The backing is made of high-quality non-woven fabric. This makes hanging the wallpaper very easy. Paste is applied to the wall, and then the wallpaper is hung directly onto the wall.
