Leaves, flowers and berries adorn the large-scale patterned French wallpaper from the 1830s. The pattern is part of a collection of exclusive wallpaper and border designs from a now forgotten French manufactory and can be found in the Nordic Museum in Stockholm. The patterns were probably imported by Isac Tengberg, the director of a dye works. When the Gothenburg Villa Tengberg was to be demolished at the beginning of the 20th century, the beautiful wallpaper patterns were donated to the collection of the Nordiska Museet in Stockholm. The harmonious arrangement of the leaves and flowers creates a classic character with a bright, Scandinavian look.
For the Anno II collection, the Boråstapeter pattern was painstakingly reproduced and carefully adapted in terms of colour.
The product is produced on a high quality non-woven backing. This makes it very easy to apply: The wall is pasted and the panels are glued directly onto the wall.
