The wallpaper features a pattern in the Toile de Jouy style with fine, detailed scenes from 18th century rural life. Figures in historical garments, horse-drawn carriages and trees create a nostalgic overall picture with a romantic feel. The monochrome depiction lends the pattern an elegant, understated effect and is ideal for both traditional and modern furnishing styles with historical references.
The pattern comes from the Boråstapeter archive. The classic Swedish country house style has been printed in ever new colour variations over the decades.
The backing is made of high-quality non-woven fabric. This makes hanging the wallpaper very easy. Paste is applied to the wall, and then the wallpaper is hung directly onto the wall.
